What Do You Dream About is an artwork made in collaboration with AI. Before the rise of chat GPT and DALLE 2 I asked GPT-3 what I should create in my painting. It responded with, “In my painting, a giant blue whale is swimming through a sea of pink clouds. The sky is a deep purple, and the sun is a bright yellow. The whale is blowing a stream of rainbow-colored bubbles.” I then interpreted its response in my own way in order create the painting. The painting was completely created by my hand with no references, but it was entirely based on the prompt GPT-3 created.
