Dusk at Salmon Arm captures the serene beauty of Salmon Arm Canada during a sunset. This picture was captured near Salmon Arm Wharf. This painting was created with a palette knife instead of a traditional brush. Colors were carefully blended and applied on top of one another in thin layers allowing for the texture of the canvas to seep through. Using a pallet knife helped reduce the possibility of over blending since colors were carefully applied on top of one another with the precision of the knife. This allowed for the vibrant yellow hues that contrast nicely with the lilac clouds.
