Progress

I was able to continue soldering on the rest of the Neopixles together to create a chain of 6 lights that will be powered through my Arduino. I also opted to add CD’s and cotton stuffing to the ceiling in addition to the paint chips that will be on top in order to fill out the ceiling space more since the paint chips are really small. I continued to push through and add more of the brown paint chips to the bottom of the piece. I was debating skimping out and leaving the bottom of the piece more empty but I realize that would make the piece seem incomplete. Furthermore the whole point of this piece was to be tedious so I asked for it. I am also running into the issue of how the piece will be moved into the gallery next door. I am hoping to get at least 4 friends in order to grab ahold of the 4 corners of the piece in order to lift off the top together to be carried out through the door.

Setbacks

My lights keep crashing. It lights up for a cycle then once it gets to the pink color it brightens then crashes and the cycle starts again. Or the lights go strong for a few rounds then turn into a bunch of different colors and crash. This should not be an issue because I only have it fading in and out of preset rgb colors. I have asked professor Stalbum to look over my code for any errors. We made the light variable constants in order to get rid of cruft but it did not solve the problem. We have concluded it might be an issue with the power. We have sacrificed a phone charger cable in an attempt to solve this issue.
