Progress

I am still putting paint chips up. I still need the ceiling chips so I am creating Paint chip blobs on the table then hanging them up when I am done. I am adding CD’s in between for more surface area but also because rainbows. The cotton cloud situation will go up in the end to prevent a giant mess. For the lights I decided to make the lights cut off at a certain brightness in order to prevent the Arduino from crashing due to a lack of power. It works out in a practical sense but I also realized that once they get to a certain brightness they all look white which is not a desired effect. I am aiming for dark moody colors. The solder on the lights are the only thing holding my lights together so I am hoping that they do not break. They are currently all sitting on a piece of cardboard I will use to move the lights up to the ceiling. However they will not be resting on the cardboard permanently which will be an issue if the solder decides to give up.

My peers and I are currently in the lab constantly working since it is our last week before the show. I am wrapping up most of my progress and hoping everything goes smoothly during installation. Promotion materials and logistics for the art show have also been worked out!

Setbacks

I thought I would have made more progress by now. The Arduino power issues really stressed me out but glad it is now under control. Sadly the phone charger I sacrificed did not go to use.
